Must See- Christian Louboutin Lipstick Collection

081315-louboutin-lipsticks-leadWhen Christian Louboutin introduced his first nail-polish collection last year, he made it just as glamorous and those famous red soles. So I am not surprised that his lipstick collection—launches this September—is going to be just as statement-making.
Inspired by the Egyptian queen Nefertiti, this line of 36 lipstick shades doesn’t come in your traditional tube. That would be far too boring. These bullets are housed in gold-and-black vials, topped with crowns, and adorned with little loops so you can attach them to a necklace chain and wear them around your neck. Lipsticks that are wearable in the most literal sense of the word? It’s the perfect marriage of beauty and fashion.
Like everything Louboutin makes, these lipsticks aren’t inexpensive: They’ll retail for $90 a pop. And of course, just as there was a nail color in his iconic red, there will also be a matching lipstick. So now you’ll be able to match your lips to your nails and to the bottoms of your shoes, if you feel so inclined.
